We've been asked, "Why should I give to your organization?"
Think of how fortunate you are, how good it feels to help, and you just never know--one of these young people may be the one that helps you someday! They are the generation that will be taking care of us!
WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO...
We sponsor a group of at-risk youths and run a program to keep them involved and away from trouble during after school hours and out-of-school dates. We are not part of any school, church, or government agency—just a few people trying to make a difference. (By the way, “we” are former and retired military and other citizens that are now substitute teachers. A few of us were sitting around one day during lunch and decided that instead of complaining about certain students, we would do something about it and become proactive.)
It's not that difficult to spot those that need help, and even easier to ignore them. We dare to make a positive change, and ask you to help us do it!
